Job Summary

ITW is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of production employees to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Plan and direct work assignments to ensure efficient production and quality control
  • Provide coaching and training to employees to improve their skills and performance
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Implement and utilize 5S principles to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Responsible for quality of all products within assigned work area
  • Assign job duties for all production employees in their team
  • Assist with personnel functions such as maintaining records, performing employee evaluations, employee counseling, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy for their parts and associated components
  • Month end metric reporting
  • Communicate regularly with Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Quality Manager, and HR Manager regarding any problems and/or concerns
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study
  • 2 years of production supervision experience
  • 1 to 3 years' experience with production in a manufacturing environment (plastic injection molding/assembly)
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel and Microsoft systems (e.g. Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; good visual skills and reasoning ability
  • Team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization
