The Lead Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Cytiva plays a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining essential utility systems within the facility, including HVAC, RODI, and Pre-Treatment Skid. This position is vital for addressing alarms, resolving maintenance challenges, and pinpointing areas for enhancement. Adhering to safety protocols, delivering technical assistance, and meticulously documenting work are fundamental aspects of this role. Flexibility for on-call and weekend shifts is required based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of plant utilities, monitor Building Management Systems (BMS), and ensure all equipment operates in accordance with Cytiva standards.
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and utilities, ensuring timely completion of assigned work orders.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out repairs, including addressing electrical outages and other facility disruptions.
Essential Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Facility or Manufacturing Equipment Technician in a regulated environment, such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience in operating, monitoring, or maintaining a Building Management System in a controlled setting.
- Physical capability to lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Facilities or Maintenance trades.
- State licensure in relevant trades.
- Grade 2 Wastewater Operator certification.
