Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the registration process for events, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.
  • Arrange and secure venues appropriate for the size and nature of each event.
  • Facilitate communication with speakers, manage presentation materials, and coordinate audio-visual needs.
  • Create event agendas, promotional materials, and flyers as required.
  • Organize catering services, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Handle all logistical aspects of events, including setup, signage, and on-site management.
  • Engage effectively with vendors, sponsors, and attendees to ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Assess the success of events and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to facility security protocols.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI or FS Polygraph.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event management software.
  • Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of event planning experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Event Management/Hospitality with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
