About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Solutions Strategist to join our team at Braze. As a Solutions Strategist, you will work closely with our salespeople to develop and execute strategies that position Braze as the preferred choice for potential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitors' products, pricing, and go-to-market strategies to identify key differentiators and areas where Braze can outshine the competition.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives on high-stakes deals, providing strategic insights, competitive intelligence, and tailored messaging to enhance our value proposition.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, playbooks, and resources to equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively compete in the market.
  • Analyze past deals to understand why we win or lose against competitors and use these insights to refine our sales strategies and improve future outcomes.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on competitive positioning and to gather insights that can be leveraged in sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to anticipate competitive moves and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes and use this information to tailor competitive strategies and messaging.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a competitive intelligence, sales strategy, sales engineering, product or similar role within the B2B SaaS industry, preferably in MarTech.
  • Proven track record of supporting sales teams in winning competitive deals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B SaaS MarTech landscape and competitive dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Preferable experience in tools like Klue, Highspot, Gong, etc.
