Role Overview
  • Position: Director, Corporate Communications
  • Summary: The President's Office is in search of a dynamic leader to implement effective corporate communication strategies. This role involves:

    1) Enhancing Employee Engagement: Cultivate a vibrant community and sense of belonging among employees across global offices.

    2) Strengthening Corporate Brand Image: Articulate our mission, values, and initiatives to enhance TPCi's reputation as a leading employer and purpose-driven organization.

    3) Managing Crisis Communication: Collaborate with the crisis management team to safeguard TPCi's corporate image for both internal and external stakeholders.

    This position involves leading a dedicated team in Bellevue and London, reporting to the Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Development, while working closely with the President and Executive team, as well as various departments including People, DEI & CSR, Legal, Marketing, and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities are categorized into three main areas:

1) Internal Corporate Communications Leadership
  • Employee Experience Advocate: Gain insights into TPCi's brand, culture, and employee perceptions to craft impactful communications that enhance the employee experience.
  • Internal Communication Strategist: Lead corporate communications to amplify the company vision and objectives, working with Executives to identify communication needs and strategies.
  • Global Communication Architect: Implement global best practices to enhance communication channels and tools, ensuring effective messaging across the organization.
  • Team Leader and Coach: Build a high-performing corporate communications team, hiring top talent and developing internal communication standards.
  • Operational Efficiency Champion: Drive improvements in operational communication processes to ensure timely stakeholder engagement.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Utilize metrics to assess the impact of internal communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with the Pokémon Company Japan PR team to ensure consistent messaging.
2) External Communications Leadership
  • Company Advocacy: Oversee external corporate communication channels to ensure alignment with company values and achievements.
  • Employer Branding & Business Storytelling: Develop communication strategies that highlight TPCi's legacy and commitment to social responsibility.
3) Crisis Communications Leadership
  • Safeguard TPCi Reputation: Collaborate with crisis management and key stakeholders during critical events to manage public perception.
