We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Avison Young. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial properties.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Work with computer-based Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor and control building systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants and respond to their maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- 2-3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a commercial or office building environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
