Allegheny Science & Technology is seeking a seasoned professional to support the CHIPS Research and Development Office (CRDO) in technology commercialization efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the semiconductor industry and a proven track record in technology transfer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accelerate the commercialization of CRDO-funded technologies and enhance their domestic availability.
  • Develop business cases for CRDO-funded researchers, including venture capital pitch decks.
  • Conduct economic impact assessments of funded initiatives and facilitate commercialization workshops and mentorship programs.
  • Perform technology economic analysis to inform new programs targeting public and private funding sources.
  • Provide guidance on commercial market strategy, business planning, intellectual property, product development, and supply chain considerations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology commercialization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of transitioning technologies from research to the marketplace.
  • Relevant technology transfer experience.
  • Understanding of technology marketing.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in complex industries or academia.
Additional Requirements
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

The salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $175,000, depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the value and expertise of each candidate.
