Key Responsibilities:- Perform underwriting origination, executing credit risk assessments of retail and correspondent loans, and implementing necessary conditions for commercial submissions to ensure compliance with program/product specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive appraisal evaluations to confirm that collateral standards are satisfactory.
- Investigate and validate adherence to federal, state, and organizational regulations.
- Effectively communicate credit risk determinations to all relevant stakeholders.
- Execute due diligence quality assessments by providing an in-depth review of retail and correspondent approved loans, including credit, income, and asset evaluations and findings.
- Stay informed on banking regulations and obligations concerning titles, liens, and other elements of the loan collateral framework.
- Possess extensive knowledge of intricate personal and/or business financial statements.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Loan Underwriting, particularly with larger loans and client relationships, is essential.
