About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Designer II to join our dynamic and collaborative design team at Populous Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions that exceed our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement design concepts from conceptual design through construction documentation.
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and review design concepts, ensuring they meet established standards and technical expertise.
  • Work closely with the design team to create and deliver innovative design solutions.
Requirements
  • Excellent design, graphics, and visualization skills.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and self-driven work ethic, with a strong commitment to meeting project deadlines.
  • Experience working on diverse projects, including large mixed-use development plans and detailed site design.
  • Ability to develop ideas in multiple software platforms and prepare hand graphics.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
  • 3-7 years of experience in landscape architecture.
  • Landscape architectural registration and LEED-accreditation are a plus, but not required.
