Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. As a key member of our biomedical equipment team, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on electronic medical equipment and clinical equipment in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs on medium to high risk medical equipment, including single and multi-component, single and multi-unit equipment.
  • Form scheduled PM or safety testing in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Receive training on equipment to perform service duties required.
  • Coordinate outside services and order replacement parts as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic electronics training from a junior college, military, or trade school.
  • Graduation from a BMET program preferred.
  • AAMI ICC Certification preferred.
