About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applied Scientist to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge audio and speech processing technologies, leveraging machine learning and signal processing techniques to deliver innovative solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop novel machine learning models for speech and audio processing applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into our products
  • Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art speech recognition and natural language processing systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and signal processing, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in our solutions
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 6+ years of experience in machine learning and signal processing
  • Strong background in neural deep learning methods and experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to travel internationally 2-3 times a year
