About the Position

University Health is seeking a skilled Electronic Health Record Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about organizing and maintaining electronic health records.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing advanced-level duties in health information management, including analyzing and interpreting data, developing policies and procedures, and providing training to staff members.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in health information management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret data from electronic health records
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve data quality
  • Provide training to staff members on electronic health record systems
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • A degree in health information management or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in health information management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
