We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bone Marrow Transplant Coordinator to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities with attending physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist in communicating with patients and their families to provide education and support.
- Triage patients and patient issues, and provide symptom management and education.
- Monitor and confirm service delivery, and evaluate healthcare services for patients and families.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support innovative and cost-effective changes to practice and the healthcare system.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience required; 1-2 years of ambulatory care and oncology experience preferred.
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the District of Columbia required.
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required.
- OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification within 1 Year preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $87,318 - $149,094 and a comprehensive benefits package.
