Key Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to transplant patients, adhering to established standards and practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance the clinical mission and goals of the Department.
Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on transplant procedures, medications, and post-transplant care.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
3-4 years of professional nursing experience, with 1-2 years of experience in transplant, outpatient, or dialysis settings preferred.
RN licensure in the District of Columbia required; CCTC certification preferred.
