Job Description
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support billing, collections, order release, cash applications, and credit management.
  • Utilizing systems and tools to actively monitor accounts and take necessary action as the situation warrants.
  • Recording customer interactions within PeopleSoft and SAP to capture information details.
  • Collecting customer financial information and historical payment trends to support credit decisions.
  • Providing analysis of AR data to OTC Management and participating in group projects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The Financial Operations Specialist will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve compliance with established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
  • Communicating and resolving issues with customers at various levels of their organizations.
  • Reacting swiftly to issues that may arise and summarizing facts for timely resolution.
  • Collection management and resolution of outstanding invoices.
  • Achieving and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with banking processes, researching, and reconciling statements and accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Required skills include:
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience with process improvement and SOX compliance.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deliverables and timelines in an effective manner.

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
