The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations Section Supervisors in achieving safety, quality, and productivity performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on developing and implementing work assignments to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Determine work assignments with specific instructions to meet daily production targets and direct subordinates to execute tasks using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Provide immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
  • Maintain and enforce all safety regulations and housekeeping standards consistently.
  • Evaluate and implement corrective actions related to process variations, equipment malfunctions, or operations.
  • Identify existing materials and/or need for ordering additional materials.
  • Resolve work-related or personnel issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (technical degree highly preferred)
  • 1-3 years leadership or supervisory experience
  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated safety leadership
  • Sound decision-making and prioritization skills
  • Ability to effectively manage/motivate union employees in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the plant organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to resolve conflict
  • Ability to handle/prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to train, coach, and direct others
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Estimated Salary: $80,856.00 - $111,177.00 per annum, dependent on factors such as location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
