Job Summary

Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of our Clean Energy Job Program. This program aims to support the growth of energy efficiency projects in New Jersey, while promoting diversity and inclusion in the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the New Jersey Department of Labor, community organizations, and state and local officials.
  • Participate in executive and external leadership meetings to drive program growth and development.
  • Manage the program budget, including developing budget proposals, justifying expenses, and monitoring expenditures.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators, scorecards, and milestone metrics to measure program success.
  • Work with energy efficiency suppliers to refine program key performance indicators and implement future offerings to support long-term program goals.
  • Collaborate with recruiting partnerships and energy efficiency suppliers to recruit and place candidates in energy efficiency projects.
  • Work with State and Governmental Affairs to build external partnerships and program growth.
  • Supervise and develop internal support staff to ensure program success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or 8 years of equivalent functional experience.
  • At least 7 years of PM experience.
  • Knowledge of Contract Management compliance.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, strong planning and organizing skills, adaptable, and result-oriented.
  • Process development/improvement and project management skills.
  • Clear and concise writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Internal consulting skills, strong presentation skills, proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • PMP certification required within two years of taking the position.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Energy Efficiency work practices and training.
  • 2 years of Project Management related to workforce development.
  • Current PSEG Six Sigma Black or Green Belt.
  • Track record of managing complex multi-disciplined teams and projects.
  • Advanced Degree.
