About the Role

Cinemark is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our theatre operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our cinema.

Key Responsibilities
  • Theatre Operations: Assist in the overall operation of the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and operational standards are achieved.
  • Team Leadership: Cross-train in all departments to support where needed, and provide inspirational training to all employees.
  • Guest Service: Interact with guests to improve service in the theatre and ensure that team members are providing superior customer service.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Report employee relations issues to the General Manager and/or Restaurant General Manager, and ensure adherence to Cinemark's Guidelines and policies.
  • Safety and Security: Identify and address safety or security issues, and consistently ensure and promote adherence of proper social distancing guidelines.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age, and a high school or G.E.D. graduate is preferred.
  • Training and Certification: Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program, and basic food handling training and certification.
  • Availability and Attendance: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and regular and consistent attendance.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent guest service skills, accurate cash handling and basic math skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment and independently, and ability to take and follow direction.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Frequent Bending and Lifting: Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing and Walking: Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Noise Level: Noise level may be moderate to high at times.
