Job Description

This position is responsible for the receipt and processing of orders from vendors, as well as the accurate and efficient packing of parts for customer orders.

  • Perform tasks as directed by the Team Leader to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Pack and prepare parts for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate records and prevent discrepancies.
  • Record inventory transactions into the computer system to ensure up-to-date records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, participating in housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Support a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing and walking required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, and weekends as needed.
Desired Education/Experience:

Prior experience with powered equipment and warehouse operations is preferred.

  • Post-secondary education or relevant certifications a plus.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment, with a focus on order fulfillment and inventory management.
Physical Demands:

The following physical demands are required for this position:

  • Regularly required to stand, use hands to handle and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:

The following working conditions are typical for this position:

  • Typically moderate to low noise levels in the work environment.
  • May be exposed to temperature variations based on season.
Hours of Work:

The following hours of work are typical for this position:

  • Normal business hours with occasional overtime (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM).
  • Overtime/extended hours may include nights and/or weekends.
