Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Affordable Housing Operations Manager to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Community Director in the day-to-day management of our apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client's objective and expectations.
  • Communication: Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
  • Employee Management: Operate the property in the absence of the Community Director and be responsible for training and onboarding of new leasing team members.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations and exhibit professional leasing techniques.
  • Revenue Management: Assist the Community Director in maximizing revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain appropriate resident files, including forms, leases, and documents, in accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance of Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with reporting of maintenance needs and document facility and maintenance needs for timely completion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of property management software and systems.
