Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a member of our Neuro ICU team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Utilize strong assessment and clinical skills to identify and address patient needs, including those related to heart failure, respiratory distress, sepsis, and other critical conditions.
- Lead the collaboration of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license.
- Experience in acute care nursing, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of emotional and physical demands.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with the ability to obtain other certifications as required.
