LPN-Clinic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at OLG Employee Health Clinic. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients, working under the direction of a registered nurse. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients, including administering IV therapy, as per the Licensed Practical Nurse Act.
- Direct and assist ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
- Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: IV therapy credentials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and delegation skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
