We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Family Medicine Clinic team at Ochsner Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to assigned patients, including IV therapy, under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Direct and assist ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties and interact with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel.
- Demonstrate professional responsibilities and assist other members of the healthcare team in providing the highest quality personalized patient care.
- Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- IV therapy credentials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal and delegation skills.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
The incumbent works in a patient care area, interacts with patients, and may be exposed to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment.
