- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Adapt to changing priorities and patient needs, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain clinical knowledge and skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: IV Therapy Credentials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal and delegation skills.
- Demonstrated good judgment and ability to work independently.
The LPN will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. The physical demands of this role include frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The LPN will be exposed to blood, body fluids, and tissue, and will work in an area where patients enter, work directly with patients, and/or work with specimens that could contain communicable diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment.
