We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our team of veterinarians and provide exceptional medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the veterinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent client service.
- Develop and implement medical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with other hospital leaders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide clinical mentoring and coaching to veterinarians and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the veterinary team and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Active Texas license in good standing to practice.
- Experience as an Emergency Veterinarian or a Veterinarian with Board Certification in medical oncology, emergency & critical care, surgery, radiology, or internal medicine.
- At least 2+ years of clinical, scientific, or industry experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in a large, multi-specialty or multi-location practice.
- Professional and excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, diplomatic attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
