The OpportunityWe're seeking a Medical Director to lead our local team in demonstrating clinical excellence and practicing sustainability. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll collaborate with your manager, the District Medical Director, and the Office Manager to solve problems and shape our organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of in-office providers, ensuring they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
- Guide and support providers' professional development
- Partner with the Office Manager to foster a collaborative, positive office community
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams
- Owning specific office management and HR functions
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or completed a residency program in the last 5 years
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year managing a team of providers
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
- State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date
