About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Operations Specialist to join our team at Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. This is a hybrid remote work position, and the ideal candidate should be local to Ontario, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide development support in E-Commerce operations, covering complex EDI map development, SI business process development, and review of all inbound and out-bound activities.
  • Responsible for daily technical monitoring and troubleshooting of in-bound and out-bound transactions in SI.
  • Assist in the resolution of issues with E-Commerce customers in a timely manner.
  • Work with new E-Commerce customers or vendors throughout all phases of set-up.
  • Provide after-hours support as required for issues involving Sterling Commerce SI and other E-Commerce related customer issues.
  • Assist the Manager of E-Commerce in identifying software issues affecting Ajinomoto Foods NA operations and associated improvements released for these issues.
  • Participate in Ajinomoto Foods NA IT implementation projects as needed.
  • Help identify systems needs, improvements, and methodology for implementation.
  • Assist in all systems back-up and potential recovery situations.
  • Perform trading partner set-up tasks, including envelope creation, code lists, and AS2.
  • Lead EDI projects for procurement and custom Oracle ERP enhancements related to EDI.
  • Assist with SI upgrades and patch application.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in IBM Sterling Integrator, with the ability to edit maps.
  • Ability to create and modify complex maps in ANSI X12 and UCS.
  • Ability to create BPML business processes using the BP editor or Graphical Process Modeler.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, relying on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in understandable language to non-technical personnel.
  • Maintain good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Possess a strong analytical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • General knowledge of installed application systems.
What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
