Job Summary

Preston Memorial Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in rural West Virginia, is seeking a highly skilled Registration Representative to join our team. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and collect demographic data and insurance information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collect co-pays and communicate with other departments to facilitate a positive patient experience.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to foster open communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in all situations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of customer service and/or clerical experience.
  • Computer experience and a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
  • Patient registration and/or healthcare experience preferred.
