We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registrar to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate registration of patients, as well as verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary signatures.
Key Responsibilities- Interview patients to obtain all necessary account information, including demographic and insurance details.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certification/authorization as needed.
- Calculate and collect patient liability amounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Process patient charts according to established productivity standards and paperwork flow needs.
- Assign insurance plans accurately and ensure all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments.
- Understand and explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment of accounts.
- 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
