Marketing Communications Director

St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked private Catholic liberal arts college, seeks a Marketing Communications Manager - Institutional to join our team. This strategic role will prioritize reputation management and brand image, ensuring a positive public presence and effective crisis response.
This position requires expertise in reputation management, crisis communications, and media relations, with a deep understanding of managing earned, owned, and paid media. The successful candidate will develop, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing communications strategies to support the college's overall reputation, enrollment, fundraising, and brand image.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute marketing communications strategies to support the college's reputation and brand image
- Manage earned, owned, and paid media to maintain a positive public presence
- Develop and implement crisis communications plans to ensure effective response to crises
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing Communications to develop and implement marketing communications strategies
- Manage and maintain the college's brand image and reputation through various marketing channels
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, or a related role
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing communications strategies
- Experience in higher education marketing is beneficial but not required
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytics tools
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College
