Job Title:

Director & Associate General Counsel, Litigation

Job Summary:

Meta is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Director and Associate General Counsel on the Litigation team focused on securities matters. The position will be responsible for managing Meta's securities litigation and dispute matters in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute litigation and dispute strategies in the United States and Canada, with a focus on securities matters.
  2. Collaborate with Meta teams on litigation strategy and related legal matters.
  3. Oversee outside counsel relationships and advise the business on securities-related litigation and disputes.
  4. Work with a team to build relationships and drive results.
Requirements:
  1. JD with membership in at least one state bar.
  2. 12+ years of legal experience, with a significant portion focused on securities matters.
  3. Extensive experience with securities matters, including books and records requests, litigation demands, derivative litigation, and shareholder class actions.
  4. Trial and appellate experience.
  5. Demonstrated experience thinking strategically to solve legal challenges.
  6. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and effective communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in large technology companies.
Compensation:

$274,000/year to $352,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
