Position Overview:

  • Drive the growth and success of an assigned portfolio by deepening existing customer relationships while effectively managing associated risks.
  • Collaborate with internal small business partners to address customer inquiries and resolve complex issues, contributing to the achievement of small business objectives.
  • Engage in outreach initiatives aimed at generating new small business relationships through strategic contact efforts.
  • Participate in various initiatives that contribute to customer relationship management and business development.
  • This position involves customer interaction and may require referring clients interested in secured products to appropriate team members, while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Banking or a related field, demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.

Preferred Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience managing a portfolio of clients with annual revenues between $1 million and $10 million.
  • In-depth knowledge of deposit and cash management solutions.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in balancing client needs with the interests and risks associated with Wells Fargo.
  • Experience in business-to-business sales for over 3 years.
  • Established connections within the local business community.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.

Job Expectations:

  • This role requires regular visits to clients and prospects within the assigned market.
  • Compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification standards and Wells Fargo policies is mandatory.
