Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Engineer to join our team. As a Survey Engineer, you will be responsible for various aspects of project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project mobilization and demobilization
- Hydrographic data collection
- Topographic data collection
- Survey data organization and processing
- Project planning and setup
- Internal production monitoring, analyzing, and reporting
- Care, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned equipment
- Calculation of air emissions, water quality, turbidity monitoring, and oxygen levels
- Dredge support as needed such as retrieving parts/supplies
Requirements
- Open water experience
- Ability to drive company vehicle with equipment in tow
- Ability to operate, launch, and retrieve small survey vessel
- Good record-keeping skills
- Ability to abide by and enforce company policies and procedures
- Ability to comply with safety rules and regulations
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work away from home at remote project locations for extended durations
