Job Title: Senior Principal Design Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Design Engineer to join our team in Linthicum, MD. As a key member of our Electrical Design and Analysis (EDA) section, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing space hardware products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop digital component designs and analysis, modeling, and simulation
  • Lead circuit level design, verification, and test efforts
  • Translate system performance and operational specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable STEM degree
  • Minimum 9 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Proficient in digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PWB/board layout tools
  • Experience with testing and using lab test equipment
  • Ability to work on multi-discipline engineering teams and communicate clearly within integrated product team leads
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Top Secret / SCI security clearance
  • Signal integrity analysis (SERDES, Bit error rates, jitter components and contributors, board to board analysis)
  • Proficient in design and analysis tools: Keysight ADS
