Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as an authorized representative of the organization, overseeing all supplier-related operations and possessing the authority to allocate company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Conducts research and assessment of potential suppliers for new business opportunities.
  • Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiates contracts with suppliers effectively.
  • Develops requests for quotations and proposals, evaluates supplier responses, negotiates terms, and manages post-award supplier activities.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • Oversees post-award supplier activities, ensuring supplier profiles and required documentation are up to date.
  • Manages inventory levels, simulation, modeling forecasting data, and evaluates supplier performance.
  • Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to enhance overall supply chain planning.
  • Integrates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to minimize material and product variability, achieving optimal solutions.
  • Communicates and tracks program changes as directed by Prime/Company.
  • Provides representation and support for Integrated Product Teams.
  • Handles change management processes.
  • Conducts affordability assessments and trade studies.
  • Performs Bases of Estimate (BOE) and estimating tasks.
  • Possesses knowledge and supports Profit and Loss (P&L) activities.
  • Demonstrates decisiveness in complex problem-solving scenarios.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain capacity, ideally within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing processes is advantageous.
  • Dynamic personality with a high energy level and the ability to drive change.
  • A Security Clearance is preferred but not mandatory at the start of employment; candidates must meet the criteria to apply for one if necessary.
