Job Summary

Kraus Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Worker to join our team.

This full-time position involves performing maintenance work for residential buildings, including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and painting.

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carpentry work, including cabinet replacement and repair.
  • Vacancy preparation, involving repair work to prepare apartments for new tenants.
  • Electrical repairs in apartments and common areas.
  • Plumbing and boiler work, including washer repair and pipe replacement.
  • Painting and plastering services for apartments and common areas.
  • Door and lock repair and replacement.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience working as a handyman or in building/construction.
  • Permits and experience in boiler, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Personal tools and equipment.
  • Valid NY driver's license and vehicle.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
