Job Summary

As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for motivating, developing, and directing the work of production employees to ensure the manufacture of products consistent with Company expectations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and develop production employees to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Set clear expectations for performance, hold employees accountable, and appraise performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify developmental needs of production employees and provide coaching, mentoring, and necessary resources for growth and development.
  • Train employees on processes and methods required to achieve Company standards for quality, quantity, and safety.
  • Monitor work of production employees to ensure adherence to production, quality, housekeeping, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with Production Control to establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
  • Confer with other supervisors and management to coordinate and improve the efficiency of operations and activities within or between departments.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field, with three years of supervisory or lead experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders.
