Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient setting. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver routine and standardized care to patients with predictable outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to unit-based quality improvement activities.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients/families to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records, notes, and physician orders.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
