Licensed Practical Nurse

To provide high-quality nursing care for patients in an outpatient physician practice setting, adhering to established standards and practices in accordance with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will apply your knowledge of patient care tasks and techniques to deliver exceptional care. You will work under the direction of practicing MDs, APPs, or RNs, staging patients in preparation for their office visits, updating patient medications in the medication history, and performing patient-related tasks as directed.
You will also facilitate timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone, as directed by practice providers. Additionally, you will ensure all needed medical records are available to the care team and providers prior to patient visits, and coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in HPP (practice management software) and eClinical Works (EHR), with a strong patient-centered focus, effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
Experience:
None required.
Licensure/Certification:
Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of South Carolina or hold a current compact/multi-state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC.
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to provide patient care. Strong patient-centered focus. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
