Job Summary
The Ambulatory Resource Team is a float pool for the ambulatory clinics within the Charleston division of MUSC Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be required to float/travel to different infusion clinics in Charleston and the surrounding area. This position requires a highly motivated and adaptable LPN to work in adult and pediatric clinics, where you will be tasked with rooming/triaging patients, point of care testing, EKGs, medication administration, and both adult and pediatric vaccinations. You will be trained to work in adult and pediatric specialty clinics, primary care clinics, and women's health.

Responsibilities
Room and triage patients
Perform point of care testing and EKGs
Administer medications and vaccinations
Work in adult and pediatric specialty clinics, primary care clinics, and women's health

Requirements
Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
Minimum of six months experience as LPN required
Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
A current CPR card is required; either an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required

Working Conditions
Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperature extremes
Ability to work from elevated areas and in confined/cramped spaces
