Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and service-oriented individual to become a part of our dining services team as a Dining Services Lead. The Dining Services Lead will be instrumental in providing an exceptional dining experience for residents, ensuring a warm and enjoyable atmosphere during meal times.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service Excellence:
  • Deliver exemplary customer service to residents and guests throughout meal periods.
  • Set a standard of professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness for the team.
  1. Team Coordination:
  • Oversee and guide the serving staff to guarantee efficient and effective dining service.
  • Assist in onboarding new servers and provide continuous support to elevate team performance.
  1. Communication:
  • Engage in clear communication with kitchen personnel, dining management, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Convey resident feedback and preferences to the kitchen and management teams.
  1. Resident Engagement:
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, understanding their preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Proactively address and fulfill residents' needs to enhance their dining experience.
  1. Dining Operations:
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to guarantee the availability of menu items and manage inventory effectively.
  • Possess knowledge of order-taking procedures and inventory management.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all meals are presented and served according to established quality standards.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and organization of dining areas to maintain a welcoming environment.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Stay informed about menu items, special dietary needs, and any updates in service protocols.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance service skills and knowledge.
  1. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a serving or hospitality role.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
