Job Overview

The Hunton Group is on the lookout for a Rental Account Manager to drive growth in our rental services. This role focuses on promoting HVAC, Power, and Compressed Air rental solutions to a diverse clientele, including existing, dormant, and potential customers. The successful candidate will build and nurture relationships to address temporary utility requirements while ensuring account management aligns with revenue targets and division objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative of The Hunton Group, establishing a strong presence in the rental market within the designated territory.
  • Employ marketing strategies, CRM tools, and personal interactions to identify and qualify leads from both existing and new customer bases.
  • Promptly respond to inquiries and assess customer needs and project feasibility.
  • Expand the current customer portfolio in the assigned region.
  • Participate in sales meetings to discuss monthly performance and strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions and account activities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including potential overnight trips.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proven track record in closing sales.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in approach.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the rental industry and equipment is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of two years of related experience, or two to four years of rental sales experience.
  • Experience in the local market is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Strong skills in project management, business development, and customer retention.
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Able to convert leads into successful accounts.
