Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated undergraduate research assistants to join our team at the Evidence-to-Impact Collaborative (EIC) at Penn State University. The EIC is a research center and information hub that aims to improve the data, methods, and processes related to research and its dissemination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the data team to build and update the data infrastructure
  • Extract and summarize data from various sources, including surveys and administrative data
  • Contribute to projects and academic research as part of the research team
Requirements
  • Currently a student in good standing with a focus on B.S. degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or equivalent
  • Higher-order thinking skills, including critical thinking, observation, recording, analysis, interpretation, evaluation, and complex problem solving
  • Programming experience in Python, R, Stata, or equivalent
  • Clear communication skills
