Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in industrial settings, including motors, transformers, generators, and control systems.
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify and diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test electrical systems and equipment using various tools and instruments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to plan and execute electrical projects and installations.
  • Follow electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents or hazards.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations, including documenting electrical diagrams, schematics, and procedures.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, is preferred.
  • A valid electrician license or certification is also required.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $70,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
