Northrop Grumman: A Leader in Advanced Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled Stealth Technology Engineer to join our team of experts in the field of Low Observable Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced technologies to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic, infrared, visual, and acoustic spectrums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cutting-edge technologies to reduce the Radar Cross Section (RCS) of aircraft
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize stealth technologies
  • Develop and implement Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and testing of complex classified targets
  • Work with proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes to predict and verify the performance of stealth designs
  • Optimize stealth designs to meet customer requirements while balancing the needs of other engineering disciplines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline AND 8 years of related professional/military engineering experience, OR a Master's degree AND 6 years of related professional/military engineering experience, OR a Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military engineering experience
  • Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance
  • Special Access Program (SAP)/Program Access Request (PAR) clearance
  • Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar computational electromagnetic analysis codes used by our competitors or customers
  • Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using the latest classified cutting-edge technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic, infrared, visual, and acoustic spectrums
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and testing of complex classified targets
  • Complete understanding and capability to plan and implement Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and testing of complex classified targets
  • Working knowledge of the requirements of other supporting engineering disciplines to help in achieving optimization of Stealth goals and a balanced design
