The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coach Peer Mentor to join our team. As a Coach Peer Mentor, you will be responsible for delivering our SEL and physical education programs to students, promoting social-emotional learning and physical activity, and supporting the development of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver SEL and physical education programs to students, promoting social-emotional learning and physical activity
  • Support the development of our students, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement program curriculum and activities
  • Communicate effectively with guardians and school staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to COVID-19 protocols and other safety guidelines
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, or child development
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age
  • Completion of mandatory MDR training and any district required trainings

  • Strong ability to implement Elevo curriculum to students
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A can-do attitude and a natural curiosity for solving problems
  • Excellent behavioral management skills
  • Thoroughly understand the organization's goals & mission
