Strategic Operations Leader for Financial Growth

Petite Financial Partners is a boutique investment firm built on a foundation of trust and client-focused service. We are seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee and coordinate the firm's day-to-day operations, client service, human resources, training, and client reporting systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Management: Develop the ongoing business plan that implements the firm's vision and strategic direction, including long-range capacity planning. Partner with the CEO in setting the tone of the firm and ensuring maximum and efficient use of technology resources.
- Operations and Administration: Oversee daily activities of the Operations Team and ensure proper support structure for servicing clients. Supervise and develop team members; train new and existing team members as needed. Develop and manage policies and procedures and audit processes.
- Talent Management: Collaborate with firm leaders to refine roles and identify staffing needs. Work with recruiting teams to maintain robust and targeted recruiting programs. Build strong peer-level relationships with managers responsible for team member development.
- Firm Culture: Promote an environment and business strategy that creates a deep sense of engagement and shared mission in all employees. Develop and plan team and skill-building events that promote firm culture and camaraderie.
- Performance Management: Work with managers to develop clear outcomes and expectations of each role. Promote a 'strengths-based' approach to employee development and ensure the right people are in the right roles.
- Academic Credentials: Strong and relevant academic credentials, including an undergraduate degree in finance or economics, and an MBA preferred or advanced management program relevant to the advisory industry.
- Business Management Experience: Minimum of 7 years of business management experience, including strategic planning and management of teams in the financial services industry.
- Project Management Skills: Proven project management skills and experience utilizing project management software programs, including EOS.
- Employment Law and Problem Resolution: Strong understanding of employment law and complex problem resolution.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Experience coaching and counseling individuals and teams, with a proven track record of mentoring next-generation leaders.
- Organizational Leadership: Strong organizational leader with solid strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional executive presence, with strong emotional intelligence to manage complex social dynamics, resolve conflicts, and build robust relationships.
- Integrity and Judgment: High level of integrity and sound judgment.
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
