Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior/Principal Engineer, you will:

  • Translate customer contractual requirements into effective testing strategies that consider technical, scheduling, and budgetary constraints.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive testing plans, procedures, and timelines.
  • Assess test requirements to ensure completeness and adequacy of the testing program.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and various test teams to establish test objectives, requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support the formulation of instrumentation needs for Hardware in the Loop testing.
  • Identify and coordinate test support requirements with the Design & Integration team.
  • Oversee testing activities to ensure compliance with verification and validation requirements.
  • Conduct daily briefings and authorize the commencement of test events.
  • Facilitate Technical and Safety Review Boards and Test Readiness Reviews.
  • Prepare charters for the Test Planning Team and collaborate with the Quality organization for test support.

Qualifications:

Principal Engineer:

  • 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science; 3 years with a Master’s; or 0 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) and the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering principles and software similar to CAMEO.
  • Familiarity with AF Test Directive and experience with ICBMs or DOD programs.

Senior Principal Engineer:

  • 9 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science; 7 years with a Master’s; or 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) and the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering principles and software similar to CAMEO.
  • Familiarity with AF Test Directive and experience with ICBMs or DOD programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) and the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
  • Knowledge of system integration and testing principles.
  • Experience in developing and executing qualification and acceptance test plans.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
