Civil Environmental Project Engineer

Woodard & Curran is a national engineering, science, and operations firm with a mission to provide innovative solutions for clean water, a safe environment, healthy communities, and happy people. We are seeking a talented Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our team in Great Falls, Montana.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations in support of projects.
- Conduct remediation monitoring and oversee contractors.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory submittals, technical memorandums, and engineering design reports.
- Manage, analyze, evaluate, and interpret data for use in reports and visualizations.
- Verify calculation briefs developed by peers.
- Research design options and document findings for project managers.
- Provide information for incorporation into specifications.
- Assist in the development of technical documents.
- Support business development activities.
- Participate in field investigations and provide construction oversight.
- Collect samples of environmental media in support of site investigation and remediation objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably civil engineering with an environmental and stormwater design emphasis.
- 3-10 years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm.
- Experience working around construction equipment and/or in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with CERCLA.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project work plans, schedules, and budgets is a plus.
- Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, modeling, and/or database software is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages is a plus.
Woodard & Curran offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) matching, paid time off, and education assistance.
