About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Prevention and Intervention Specialist at Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI). This role will be housed within the Prevention & Intervention Department and is responsible for providing HIV, Hepatitis C (HCV), and Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing-related services to at-risk individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide HIV, HCV, and STI counseling and testing
  • Conduct outreach and recruitment for testing services; seek out new venues for testing services.
  • Escort clients and follow up on referrals to confirm completion of referrals as needed.

The estimated salary range for this position is $41,600 - $46,600 annually, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications, and in alignment with internal equity.
